Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Walkdeeznuts Inc., registered at Office 4, Sector H-12, Islamabad 44000, Pakistan ("we", "us", "our"), and govern your use of the walkdeeznuts mobile app and this website (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

You may not use the Service if you have previously been removed from it, or if you are barred from using it under applicable law.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information when you register, and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Keep your login credentials to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised.
• One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are.

4. What the Service is

The Service introduces you to other people nearby who have indicated they are available to walk, and suggests a public meeting point and route. We provide the introduction and the tools. We are not a party to what happens on a walk, and we do not employ, endorse, vet, or supervise the people you meet.

We do not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on users unless we expressly say otherwise.

5. Safety and your own judgment

We strongly recommend that you:

• meet in public, well-populated places, especially the first time;
• tell a friend where you are going and use the in-app share feature;
• keep your own means of getting home;
• trust your instincts and end a walk whenever you want, without explaining;
• never send money to another user or share financial information;
• report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and cannot respond in real time.

6. Rules of conduct

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse any other user;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to solicit unlawful acts;
• engage in commercial solicitation, spam, recruiting or advertising without our written permission;
• post or send content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory or otherwise objectionable;
• misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
• collect, scrape or store other users' information;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, or interfere with its operation;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where the law expressly permits it;
• use bots, automation, or fake location data to interact with the Service.

We operate a low tolerance for harassment. Reports are reviewed and can result in immediate, permanent removal.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit — your profile details, messages and anything else. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must retain for legal or safety reasons.

You confirm that you own or have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

We may remove content that breaches these Terms, but we are not obliged to monitor or screen content in advance.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or via our account deletion page.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably believe you present a risk to other users, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law — will survive.

9. Fees

The Service is currently free to download and use. If we introduce paid features in future, we will publish pricing, billing, auto-renewal and refund terms here and give you notice before they apply to you.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the walkdeeznuts name, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.

11. App stores and third parties

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google, and that those companies have no responsibility for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also comply with the applicable store's terms of service.

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services, including mapping providers. We are not responsible for third-party services and their own terms will apply to your use of them.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that matches will be suitable, that routes are safe or accessible, or that any user is who they claim to be. Route suggestions and meeting points are suggestions only — assess them yourself.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or connected with your use of the Service.

In particular, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of any user, whether online or in person.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

If you are a consumer, you may have rights under local law that these Terms cannot limit, and nothing here affects those rights.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Islamabad, Pakistan will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

We do not currently require arbitration. If we introduce an arbitration agreement or class-action waiver, we will give you notice and an opportunity to opt out.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues can be resolved quickly.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service develops. We will revise the "last updated" date, and for material changes we will give you notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
